Bement School HISTORY

  • The Bement School was founded by Grace Allen Power Bement in 1925 with the educational philosophy that it was possible to tailor teaching to the individual child. Rooted in her strong belief in women’s suffrage, Grace Bement wished to instill in its students the value of upholding the rights of others and slowly amassed the loyalty and affection of her students and faculty.
